Back 4 Blood reveals further details of its open beta that is coming up next month
This looks so promising.
Warner Bros Games have revealed more details on their upcoming co-op zombie shooter Back 4 Blood’s upcoming beta next month, and the info is very promising indeed.
The beta will have 4 playable maps in total, and two of them will be for the PvP Swarm mode, where players will get to pick from six different Ridden variants. These include the Hocker, Retch, Crusher, Exploder, Stinger, and Bruiser. People will also get the chance to play on two different maps in the co-op mode. Once there, they will take control of Mom for the first time as well as Holly, Walker, Hoffman, and Cleaners Evangelo.
We are also getting a bunch of weapons to choose from, plenty of cards to build our decks with, and the brand new Fort Hope communal hub. Cross-gen support and cross-play are also promised, and I’m certainly looking forward to that!
The beta will run in two phases. Early Access will be up for pre-order between August 5 and August 9, and between August 12 and August 16, the game will be available to everyone else interesting in joining the party.
Back 4 Blood is expected to launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC on October 21. Check out the trailer below while you’re here:
