The current Epic Games Store freebies are Verdun and Defense Grid: The Awakening

New week and new Epic Games Store freebies on the list. From today until July 29, you can grab your free copy of a World War I FPS multiplayer shooter Verdun and a gorgeous-looking tower defense game Defense Grid: The Awakening.

I haven’t played Verdun in a while, so it’ll be very interesting to see how it holds up in 2021. As for Defense Grid: The Awakening, it may not be as good as Immortal Defense or Defender’s Quest, but it’s certainly worth adding to your collection.

Next week’s freebies will also be great. Until August 5, you’ll be able to grab Mosthergunship (what a name) and Train Sim World 2. Make sure you log in next week to claim them.
