As you probably already know, Microsoft is working on a new Windows (Windows 11). The most interesting announcement is that Windows 11 will be the “best Windows ever for gaming” and it will have some special features that are tailored specifically for gaming. Hooray!

As Xbox Wire writes, Windows 11 will have the Auto HDR feature that was previously introduced with the Xbox Series consoles that enhances older games using DirectX 11 or higher by adding new lighting effects.  What’s more, Windows 11 will also have faster loading times thanks to a system called DriverStorage, based on the new Xbox Velocity Architecture on Xbox Series X and S.

Xbox Game Pass on PC is also worth mentioning in this regard. The Xbox Game Pass app will be integrated into the next version of Windows and Cloud Gaming via a web browser is also coming in advance ahead of Windows 11 launch.

There are other interesting features to be mentioned, like the ability to run Android apps on Windows natively for the first time. You can read more about all of these awesome features on the official Windows blog.

Windows 11 will launch as a free upgrade for Windows 10 “this holiday season” and will be rolling out through the entire 2022. You can check out the video below:
