A Plague Tale: Requiem now has a release date and that is October 18. To mark that announcement, we’ve got a brand new trailer to gawk at. It shows ten minutes of gameplay, and it’s quite awesome, to say the least.

Here’s what the description says:

“In this new extended gameplay sequence, follow Amicia and Hugo as they make their way through a massive ochre-red quarry overwhelmed with soldiers eager to capture them. Fortunately, the duo has many new tricks up their sleeve and doesn’t shy away from getting their hands dirty. Watch how it all plays out and get ready to embark on their heart-rending journey into a brutal, breathtaking world, and discover the cost of saving those you love in a desperate struggle for survival.”

The game is a direct sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence. We got our first look at it earlier this month, during the Xbox and Bethesda showcase. The game looked really awesome even though the subject matter is not pretty. It is scheduled for release on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC. The cloud-streaming version is also coming to Nintendo Switch.
