Iron Gate and Coffee Stain have announced that their Nordic-flavored survival title Valheim is coming to the Xbox consoles in spring 2023.


The game was highly successful on PC in early access on Steam ever since it launched last year. At this point, we know the game is heading to PC Game Pass via the Microsoft Store this Fall. Once that is done, it’ll be heading to Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S in the Spring of 2023.

The original developer (Iron Gate) handed over the console development to Fishlabs and Piktiv in order to make the transition smoother. That way, they can focus on the current game, including the update of the Mistlands biome. The console release will have full crossplay, allowing you to survive the Nordic afterlife that is more dangerous than you can imagine.


Valheim is out now in early access on PC. It’s heading to PC Game Pass in Fall 2022, and then on Xbox Series X/S & Xbox One in Early Spring 2023. Don’t miss out on the trailer below:
