Capcom have officially confirmed that the highly anticipated Resident Evil 4 remake is coming out on March 24, 2023.

The announcement came at the very beginning of the new State of Play broadcast and it featured quite an epic trailer. Leon, Ashley, Ada Wong, and the creepy Spanish village - they are all present and they’re just as epic as we remember them. Actually, they look even better now as, of course, they now look modern, up-to-date, and shiny thanks to the amazing RE: Engine. We still don’t know what the actual gameplay will look like, but we should be looking at Resident Evil Village to see that.

To spice things up even further, the Resident Evil 4 remake will (apparently) also have full PlayStation VR 2 support. The already mentioned Resident Evil Village will also be getting the same VR treatment and it will be released on the new headset. We don’t have a lot of details on that matter, but we will certainly keep you updated once we find out more.

Meanwhile, Capcom have also confirmed that the remake will launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC as well, so hooray for that.
