As we’ve reported recently, Blanka and Sakura are coming to Fortinite today, as one of several Street Fighter crossovers (the others include iconic characters like Guile, Cammy, Ryu, and Chun-Li).
Both of them will be available on the Fortnite shop starting tonight at 8 PM ET and players will also be able to unlock a loading screen via the “Blanka and Sakura Cup.” The bundle has Blanka coming with his familiar Blanka-Chan back bling, the Blanka backflip emote, and the “Tropical Hazard Kebab Pickaxe,” featuring various fruits that Blanka enjoys. We’re also getting the exclusive “Blanka Delgado” outfit, which is a direct reference to Boman Delgado of Rival Schools fame. So glad to see such an epic homage to this awesome game.
Sakura is getting gym clothes alt-outfit “inspired by one of her Street Fighter IV alts,” along with the Hanakaze Claw back bling, victory sway emote, the Kayari Buta glider, and the Fighting Tournament Trophy pickaxe.
The Blanka and Sakura Cup is being held today on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Android, and PC. You can participate in “up to 10 matches” today, so you better get going.
