Clockwork Aquario is coming to Xbox and PC this year
The style itself brings so much nostalgia.
ININ Games have announced that Westone Bit’s platformer Clockwork Aquario is heading to Xbox One and PC later this year following its release on PS4 in December 2021.
Clockwork Aquario is an arcade release that was abandoned just before being fully completed back in 1994. Fast-forward to 2022 - thanks to the determined efforts of ININ Games and boutique retailer Strictly Limited, the source code for this long-lost game was recovered and completed, which allowed us to finally enjoy it in its full glory.
The plot is as simple as you can imagine (it’s a platform game after all). Our heroes Huck Londo, Ellie Pie, and Gush make their way through a series of enormously cute environments in order to stop the evil Dr. Hangyo from taking over the world.
The game is developed by the same folks behind the classic Wonder Boy titles, so expect a lot of character and fun moments along your journey.
