Studio MDHR have announced a release date for the upcoming Cuphead DLC, Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course. The DLC is going live in June 2022.
The expansion was being worked on for quite a while, and it was first unveiled during E3 2018. It got a couple of delays as well, first in 2020 and then in 2021, and now we finally have June 30 2022 as the release date.
The studio’s co-director Chad Moldenhauer shared some comments on this announcement as well - “As with so many of our fellow developers, creating games during these unique times has brought with it a host of challenges. We’re so grateful to our Cuphead community for their patience and excitement as we’ve pushed to make The Delicious Last Course a true high watermark of the studio’s art, design, and animation”.
Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course will see our heroes Cuphead and Mugman joined by a new character - Ms Chalice. The three of them will be heading to the Inkwell isle for a brand new adventure and they will be equipped with new weapons, charms and they’ll meet a bunch of new characters along the way. Other than Cuphead and Mugman, you’ll now also be able to play as Ms Chalice in the original Cuphead game.
Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course will launch on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Don’t miss out on the trailer below:
