Ubisoft have published a behind-the-scenes documentary on the making of Far Cry 6 and it looks stunning.

Entitled Revolución: A Far Cry Story, is a thirty-eight-minute video that takes us behind the scenes of Ubisoft Toronto. It includes interviews and stories from some of the crucial figures behind the game, including the narrative director Navid Khavari himself.

The documentary includes insight into the making of the game as well as personal stories from the developers. We also have a historical insight and a look at actor Giancarlo Esposito’s work as Anton Castillo. The documentary also shows how the team dealt with the global COVID-19 pandemic as a bonus.

Here’s what Navid had to say: “It was thrilling to launch a massive game to millions of people around the world, but we had no idea, when we started development, that we would be shipping a game during a pandemic, and it changed everything. We went from thriving in the buzz of a state-of-the-art studio in Toronto to finding solutions to unique problems we never thought we’d face, in the quiet of our homes.  Watching this back, it was great to be able to come together in what was a personal project for all of us.”

Far Cry 6 came out on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC back in October. You can watch the full documentary below:
