Ziggurat Interactive have announced that their ReVamped remasters of the BloodRayne games are coming to consoles next month.

Remasters of both games were originally launched last year on PC and named Terminal Cut as a nod to their original developer, Terminal Reality. The ReVamped versions include multiple enhancements for modern consoles. They include support for 4K resolutions, upscaled cinematics and more. There are also improvements to the game’s lighting, and some engine improvements to support high-resolution textures and effects.

If you’ve never played the original BloodRayne, here’s a quick recap. You will be taking the role of Rayne, a young lady who is half-vampire and an agent of the mysterious Brimstone Society. She’s searching for her father and her journey will take her through World War II where she will be fighting a bunch of supernatural creatures and even the Nazi army itself. The sequel to the original 2002 game, launched in 2004, and brings Rayne to the present day, where her blood-filled journey continues. Along the way, she ends up uncovering a vampiric conspiracy that changes everything forever. I could keep on for a while longer, but if you haven’t played the game, I don’t want to reveal too much.

BloodRayne: ReVamped and BloodRayne 2: ReVamped will both launch on November 18 on Xbox One, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch. There will also be physical versions on the PS4 and Nintendo Switch. You can check out a trailer below.
