Vampyr is getting a surprise enhancement update for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5

Dontnod Entertainment have dropped a surprise patch for their RPG Vampyr with enhancements for next-gen consoles.

As they’ve announced on Twitter, the update won’t just offer a better visual experience on the newest machines, but the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X players will also get to benefit from the new additions. The new patch allows the PS5 and Xbox Series X players to run the game at 1440p resolution at 60 FPS. At the same time, the PS4 and Xbox Series X players can run the game at the same 1440p resolution at 30FPS. Lastly, the Xbox One X now runs the game at 1296p at 30 FPS.

We have no clue what else Dontnod is working on at the moment but we can hope a sequel to Vampyr is being produced as we speak. Time will tell!
