From Software have announced that the release of the long-awaited action RPG Elden Ring has been delayed from January to February 2022.

They’ve made the announcement via a tweet on the game’s official Twitter and here’s what they said: “Elden Ring will release on February 25, 2022 as the depth and strategic freedom of the game exceeded initial expectations. Thank you for your trust and patience. We look forward to seeing you experience the game in the Closed Network Test in November.”

If you wish to participate in a test, you are encouraged to sign up on the official website before November 1. People who get picked up will take part in any of the five sessions that will take place on the following dates and times:

1. 11am – 2pm UK Time on November 12.

2.      3am – 6am UK Time on November 13.

3.      7pm – 10pm UK Time on November 13.

4.      11pm – 2pm UK Time on November 14.

5.      3am – 6am UK Time on November 15.

The game will have a very unusual map structure (from the Souls series) and I am eagerly waiting to see how that is going to play out.

Elden Ring will now launch on February 25. It will also be available on Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and PC.
