A battle royale puzzler Tetris 99 has announced its latest Grand Prix event, and it’s a tie-in with the recent launch of WarioWare: Get It Together!
Basically, the game will undergo a suitable WarioWare style makeover during the event and you will have to earn as many points as you can over the four days. The higher the place, the more points you can earn and if you earn 100 points, you will get to keep the theme permanently.
This is the 24th such event in total, following similar tie-ins with Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Splatoon 2. The new theme includes artwork, music, and even custom designs on the Tris blocks, modeled after some of the game’s characters.
WarioWare: Get it Together! launched on Nintendo Switch last Friday. The event will run starting from this Friday, September 17 at 8 AM UK time until Tuesday, September 21 at 7:59 AM UK time.
