Cyan Worlds have announced that the iconic adventure puzzler Myst is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC later this month. Hooray!

The game was initially released in 1993 and now it’s been completely remade from the ground up in the Unreal Engine. The remake will bring “new art, new sound, re-imagined interactions, and optional puzzle randomization” in one complete bundle. The control scheme is now also fully modernized and it will be the first time we have the game released on an Xbox console.

If you’ve never played the game before, here’s a quick intro. The game will take you to the mysterious Myst island where you will get to explore the mysterious magical place and solve a series of puzzles as you eventually get transported to other just as mysterious locations like Ages.

The remake also features a bunch of visual and accessibility upgrades as described on the Xbox Wire. These upgrades include localized UI and technology known as FidelityFX Super Resolution. Thanks to this super sampling process, you can play the game at 4K and 60 FPS on the Xbox Series X.

Myst is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on August 26. Make sure you check out the trailer below:
