Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania adds Sonic and Tails as playable characters
Now I want to play the game even more!
Sega have announced that both Sonic and Tails will appear as unlockable characters in Monkey Ball: Banana Mania at launch.
Sonic and Tails join the previously announced Beat from Jet Set Radio, and again just like him, they will be free and unlockable through normal gameplay at launch. They will also be available on all platforms.
Banana Mania will have more than 300 stages with many updates from the first Super Monkey Ball from 2001. Funny enough, the game is celebrating both SMB’s 20th anniversary and Sonic’s 30th birthday. A perfect game for such opportunities for sure, especially since Sonic already made an appearance in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD back in 2019.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 5. You can check out the trailer below:
