Streets of Rage 4’s Mr. X Nightmare DLC is coming out on July 15
Just 2 weeks away (roughly).
Guard Crush Games and Dotemu have announced that the Mr. X Nightmare DLC for Streets of Rage 4 is coming out on July 15.
This DLC will introduce three new characters (Max Thunder, Estel Aguirre, and Shiva) and it includes a brand new Survival Mode where you will be thrown into a simulation that allows you to take on endless waves of enemies. Completing each wave will let us choose from a set of randomized perks for the next one. All bonuses can stack, so the more we play, the more powerful we will be.
A weekly challenge will also be a thing and it works by changing the randomized waves with a pre-generated collection of enemies. Completing these challenges allows you to compete against your friends or family members for the highest possible score on the leaderboards. The DLC will also come with a free update that promises to add a training mode, balance changes, Mania+ difficulty, and so much more.
The Mr. X Nightmare DLC is coming to Streets of Rage 4 on Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC on July 15. You can check out the trailer below:
