We wrote about Overwatch getting cross-play support recently, and now it’s finally happening. As Blizzard announced, the cross-play support in Overwatch is now live on Xbox, PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.

To access the feature, you’ll need to link your Battle.net account to your console as we’ve already explained. The feature isn’t fully available for Competetive Play mode matches, but it’s available in Quick Play, Arcade, and Custom modes. If you log in by the end of the year, you’ll also get a free Golden Loot Box, so make sure you do it on time.

Another thing that is worth mentioning is that we now have a new limited-time Ashe’s Deadlock challenge event, and if you participate, you’ll be able to snatch different rewards like sprays, player icons, and a Legendary Deadlock Ashe skin by July 5. You can check out the full details here.

The cross-play update and Ashe’s Deadlock Challenge are both available now in Overwatch on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
