Sonic is celebrating three decades of history, and for that special opportunity, our favorite hedgehog is heading to Minecraft. If you’re both a Minecraft and Sonic fan, you’ll be glad to know that Sonic the Hedgehog DLC is now up for grabs on the Minecraft Marketplace.
This is not just a skin pack, but a full-blown Sonic-themed addition that includes ring-gathering features as well as speeding through levels with loops and bounce pads. There’s even a spinning sign as well. Other than Sonic, Tails, Amy, Shadow, and Knuckles will all make an appearance as well.
There’s plenty of nostalgic moments here, but having the Green Hill Zone and Chemical Plant Zone totally sold it for me. There are a lot of things going on for Sonic right now, but until we get a Sonic Colors remake and a brand new game, this DLC is definitely worth checking out.
