Guilty Gear: Strive gets a Story trailer ahead of release next month
A 20-year saga is coming to an end.
Arc System Works have released the story trailer for the upcoming anime-styled beat-em-up Guilty Gear: Strive, which is coming out this June.
This is basically the conclusion of a storyline that began more than 20 years ago in the first PlayStation title, released back in 1998. The story revolves around Sol Badguy, a former scientist who has been transformed into a biological weapon known as a Gear by Asuka R. Kreutz. In the follow-up events, Kreutz has turned himself into the US Government and is working with them, but Sol suspects that something is not right and now seeks to uncover Asuka's true intentions.
Along the way, he will meet a bunch of other colorful characters, including Jack-O' Valentine a samurai vampire Nagoriyuki, a special forces officer who can control a spirit wolf Giovanna, and even an artificial lifeform. You'll experience all that and more once the game hits the market.
