Capcom have announced that Resident Evil Re: Verse is getting a delay and it will no longer launch simultaneously with Resident Evil Village next month. Instead, the pack-in multiplayer title is coming out this summer.

We don't know why exactly the game was delayed but we do know that the Beta didn't go as smoothly as Capcom hoped for. There were a lot of connectivity issues and matchmaking proved to be quite a challenge during the first beta test in April. A second beta was held the past weekend and the developers decided that more time is needed to polish everything and deliver a playable product. Resident Evil Village will still launch according to plan nonetheless.

We will keep you updated as more information rolls out.
