According to the official tweet, both of these games have set a new record for Nintendo Switch in terms of launch week sales. This kind of start is very promising and we will see how they keep up in the long run and whether they will be able to beat Super Mario Odyssey as the best-selling game on the console ever.
Technically, these games are the opposite sides of the same coin. It's not a true Pokemon RPG that many fans are waiting for, but it should suit both veterans and newcomers alike.
