We wrote about the "ultimate "Sega nostalgic bundle (Sega Mega Drive Classics Compilation) that is wrapped up for release on PS4 and Xbox One but, the Switch players will not be left behind either. Along with the announcement of the previous compilation and along with the announcement of Shenmue I & Shenmue II ports, the acclaimed giant has one more announcement to make.

Switch will be getting its own nostalgic package - Sega Ages. The information that we have right now is fairly limited but we know that M2 will be controlling the steering wheel and this bundle will include 15 cult classics in total. We are yet to find out what games will be included but, so far we know that Sonic the Hedgehog, Thunder Force IV and Phantasy Star will find their way there.

And Sega's old-school aspirations don't end there. A copycat or not, but Sega will release a mini version of their Mega Drive console as well. The cult company is hoping for a similar success that Nintendo's mini NES and SNES consoles already achieved. At the same time, Sega is looking forward to improving the emulation problems that were well documented in the previous incarnations of Mega Drive mini consoles (to be fair, though, those were not manufactured by Sega themselves).

We don't have the release date yet but we will surely keep you updated.
